If you ever want to repeat that wild camp im sure there would be lots who would be interested.

I'd be interested, for me Glenariff is the one forest I'd love to explore and haven't done so yet

We can get that organised for some time during the summer. Would be suited for a family thing as well as a wild camp. I'm free all summer bar a few days and the first week of July.

We stayed at glenariff during easter and it was quiet. That doesnt mean it cant be noisy, guess it depends who is there when you are.

Seems to be the main official campsites are the worst, tollymore and castlewellan etc. Most places that have a main road running through them.

With reference to Glenariff please check the travelling community havent pre booked it  >:( they can appear out of nowhere at any time of the day/week/month  ::)

I dont think you can book any places there. We tried and they told us it was just first come first served. This was during easter. Not sure about the summer time.

The pre booked bit was a joke Oisin, those people dont book camp sites, hence the second part of my post, you could waken up surrounded  ;)
