No sign of it :(  Although I only recently noticed in a past edition of TGO magazine that it advertised "400 free curries to give away".  Perhaps 400 people had beat us to it, but its a bit of a bummer you hand over your details and don't get a spicy dish out of it :(

Hi Andrew,

Have just looked into this for you and have been told that Kudrati who are supplying the currently do have your data ready to send out the curry’s but unfortunately the person dealing with the distribution is on leave at present.  I have been assured that they will go out in the next few weeks and you will certainly receive your curry.

I was really looking forward to trying this curry and if I liked it then purchesing some for Kilimanjaro.

But still not got it. Think I might give up on this, anyone get theres?

Nope still no sign of it... I thought they provided all your meals whilst on Kili?

Was just looking through the most recent TGO Magazine and there is a snippet in Gear News on the Kudrati curry.  It says "...several hundred TGO readers have already had the opportunity to sample the curries, via a giveaway on our website towards the end of last year..."

I'm guessing we missed the boat, as I think there were a limited about of curries being sent out.  Either that or they just didn't fancy posting several curries to Northern Ireland :D  It's a pity though as I'm currently sampling a few dehydrated meals and it would have been nice to have an extra one to put through the taste test!

Whilst on the subject, there is a rather good article by Eddy Meechan in this months TGO about dehydrated food and how it can be used to lighten your load without effecting nutritional value.  It was a timely read as I've just ordered a bunch of dried meals from Outdoors Grub to try out.  I was also very amused to find we have the Egyptians and NASA to thank for these meals, but its best reading the article to find out about that :)

forgot to say that Mountain house do a egg with ham breckfast and as you can get it over here i told them and they sent me 2 packs of it.

Not had the chance to try them yet. Might take on for this sunday and we can all see what its like.

I ordered the Mountain House Chicken Tikka & Rice, along with a Mince Hot-Pot from Adventure Food Meals, a Katmandu Curry from Backpackers Pantry, Sheperds Pie from Be-Well and Chicken Rice Tandoori from MX3 Adventure.  Will hopefully be giving a couple of them a go on Slieve Meelmore this weekend, just hope none of them disagree with me ;)
