Hobbits house
« on: September 14, 2010 »

Thought this was cool  :) http://www.simondale.net/house/index.htm

I have a plot of land with outline planning permission. I wonder would the planning office allow me to have a go at building something like this hmm 8)

impressive house, reminds me of a lovely pub in Glasgow which had 2 large trees (fake) in it and wood beams and dodgey plastering everywhere

That's a great Internet Find Sawyer.  I think 99% of the guys on here would love to have a go at building one of these... Getting the wife to move in would be the hardest part I reckon, but maybe that is just another positive for building it..!  ;D

Does that mean some of you guys would help out now and again if I do go ahead then...? ;D

Great I have free builders ;D ;D ;D

Oh the only thing I didn't mention - its in a remote part of Fermanagh :o Saying that its on a great spot overlooking Lough Erne in the distance and ots of surrounding mountains, so would be a great spot to camp if you guys were up for that.

In all seriousness I have my reservations about getting planning permission for this, but you never know. Currently looking into it and will get back to y'all.

Was just gonna say... a while back we were wondering if anyone owned (or knew someone who owned!) a plot of land we could have an NI-Wild Supermeet :)

If I getr some sort of planning permission passed for the hobbits house (currently investigating) I'm sure we could arrange something.  :)
