If you are attempting to give me a hard time at least check your spelling...... ;)  Now that you have brought this up. The pace wasnt excessive but it was fast.

I stayed back to keep the other guy company by which point the rest of you were a good fifty yards in front... he was struggling to get a breath and decided to turn back.I feel this was a sensible decision on his part.. I was beside him you guys werent.

You can argue away and I ain't getting in to it as I was not there but why do people always on forums when in an argument bring up the spelling mistakes ??? I ain't the smartest but that is one thing that pisses me off and it seems so childish , if you got a point make it don't try and belittle who you are throwing your handbag at , rant over now back to your tiff

A spealling mustake!? I'm shoked.

If your going to ridicule others for there spelling perhaps you should check your own...

"was not" or "wasn't" but certainly never "wasnt"

and I'm afraid "werent" isn't even a word.

Nightjar, I agree with the sentiment of your original post (on a couple of different levels), walking aint just about throwing yourself up mountains or sprinting along tracks (....I know, I know I've used these words figuratively on occasion).

Pick a date, pick a route, make a post with details (link it to the calendar), see who comes. If no-one seems interested, do the same thing twice more....if after that still no-one's interested, you have done your best.
