Hi All,

Probably a bit late for this week but the Lidl Head Torches are brilliant value. They use 3 AA batteries, have three light settings, high, low and flashing, with a variable beam. No red light but otherwise very well made, aluminium body with better on/off button than my Black Diamond Icon.

If you miss it this time watch out for it the next time around, which sometimes is not too long.

Hi,

Sorry no link to the head torch, on searching under google others seem to talk about a different one to the one I purchased from an earlier offer. Mine cost £9.99 I think, age has me slightly blurred after a week now. It only has three settings, full, partial and flashing. I have been using it every night to help read in poor light and the supplied batteries are lasting well, after they go I shall be unto 7Dayshop rechargeable ones. Maybe it is just me but I imagine Lidl bring their items out on a more regular basis now, or sometimes they allow items unsold in stores to lie around for another week.

something makes me think it is very like a Cree head torch.

All in all this is probably little help sorry.
