This new service announced today that now includes forecasts for specific summits, including 12 in the Mournes.

then select the summits button at the right of the map

then click on the 12 in the map above the mournes to see a list of summits

well technically it still doesn't, well not from the mountain range forecast page, but if you use this link ( http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ni/ni_forecast_weather.html ) you do get a little bit of a mourne forecast at the bottom of the northern ireland one.

Interesting. Is this just a pure scientific forecast or do they have equipment on the mountains?

No equipment on the mountains in this country, in Scotland they have weather stations on some big mountains like Cairngorm. http://cairngormweather.eps.hw.ac.uk/

Here is another website that I came accross. It shows the weather forecast for the different mountain ranges in the world. I norrowed down to the Irish ones.
