has anyone seen any good bargains out in the sales that might interest us?

Haven't been out.

There's not a whole heap in work (Tiso) as the winter stuff is selling well.  I few odd lines and sizes mostly, but there is some money off Berghaus base layers, and it's a good time to look for cheap summer shirts and trousers.

My top picks:
Montane Venture event, Moroccan blue, down to £160.  -great price for light, 3-layer, mountain jacket.
Marmot Aegis, Red £90.  -really light, breathable, alpine jacket with nice chunky zip.
Jura microfleece £7.50.  -basic, unisex, fits small, but cant go wrong if you like fleece

There is also a womens Rab event jacket for only £125!  It's kinda sea-grean/teal.

Field and Trek have the Thermarest Neo Air SI mat down to £66 which I thought was pretty cheap.

Overall find sales in general are very disappointing this year.
