not to be outdone by wee bro also made an igloo snowmen are so last season. Its in my back garden so will spend the night in , at least thats wat the wife says after i told her how much id just spent on a sleeping bag and thermarest neo . ::)


Nice one...  When your wife finds out how much you really paid you'll be out there for a week.  Better run a power cable out to it  ;D

Brilliant job Dowser, I take my hat off to you!  Shouldn't it be in DPM though?  :D



We must have had the wrong type of snow in my neck of the woods, I tried building a snowman with my 5 year old but it was too powdery!  :'(

Aye you could barely make a snow ball up our way.  Mind you someone did make a ..... shall we say carrot and two brussel sprouts, about 7 foot tall at that.  Just at the Hillhead Road roundabout on the Larne Line.

Apparently the "alternative snowman" is all the rage this year. I've not seen one but hear them being talked about plenty.

We tested it in the work car park and down some grassy banks when the kids left. Along with the help of some silicone machine lube the thing went like something slippery off a shovel.

hey dowser it looks a bit like a fist mate.

so how long did it take to build the igloo.
i never thought id see the day where in northern ireland you could build an igloo in a front garden.
looks like the kids had a great time.
one for the scrapbook i think.
you can look back at this for yrd to come.
