The National Trust is looking for an Assistant Warden for the North Coast.

It's 2.5 days a week, with less then stellar wages, was semi-seriously thinking about working a couple of days in IT and a couple of days out in the open air.

14k for 2.5 days a week isn't bad, works out at 28k if it was full time! That's not bad considering most graduates start on 20kish and work a lot more hours than that! I would go for it mate, Its a foot in the door even if you find nothing to take up the rest of the hours with.

hmm...that's what I was hoping it was when I first saw it, but it's £14k pro-rata, so that makes it 2.5/5 ths of £14k...or have I got the wrong end of the stick..

working a couple of days in IT

That was hilarious! I can empathise with some of that!

The second episode is side splitting as well - when sales guy phones tech support because his "spreadsheet" has "run out of rows" and the title bar reads "Microsoft PowerPoint - EXCEL.ppt" ;D

I'd love an outside job though... half a week behind a computer and half a week under the sky sounds about right!
