Have fun...

But please leave the place cleaner than the last visitors....

We arrived yesterday to a stink of a place, in no particular order here is a list of some things we encountered...

2 x open large boxes of now mouldy cereal
Packets of open biscuits
Dozen eggs that expired in June
1/2 a bin bag of pasta
Countless torn bags and empty coal sacks
Very large candle that had obviously been left burning and dripped all over the gents loo
Cup soups that expired in January
Super noodles complete with mites
Ruc sac
Cool bag
Air bed

And lots lots more....

We burnt what we could, filled my boat with what ever else it could carry (some rubbish left in lean to)

Removed what wax we could from the loo and melted it down to make new candles

Cleaned the counter and gave the place a good brushing out.

We also chopped up a load of wood and left it in green bag beside window, firefighters are in sweet tin on window sill.

If you are going, bring a handful of clothes and a bottle of bleach, maybe a new mop too and give the place a good clean.

I would love to have joined you for this but I've loads on which I don't know if I can cancel but you never know.  If you see a red canoe with a blue sail arriving that'll be me!

What time are you planning to head out on Sunday and where are you launching from?

Hi we are heading out from kilyleigh not sure of time yet, i think that high tide will be around seven but will prob be on the water a good bit before that, as we will be doing a bit of fishing early afternoon i would imagine, i hope you are able to join us but if not im sure we will have the chance again.
ps if anyone else wants to go but havn't got a boat i have a small inflatable rib with an outboard which i would be more than happy for anyone to use.
