Enjoy the camp.  I live v close to Donard park but alas I don't have a tent...yet.  Will be seeking advice on a suitable one soon. 8)

Glad everyone enjoyed themselves.

Tell me more about this order from the fire brigade to put the fire out. I was wondering if there was going to be a fire or not, I thought you might have avoided it due to the recent forest fires.

Well done to Wild Camper and Dr Who for tidying the site up.  It's a shame others are so inconsiderate.

Looked like a fun camp.

Well done Thomas & Robert, great job on the Easter Egg Hunt my daughter really enjoyed it, and extra karna for the cleanup too, sorry i couldn't make it back up for the evening festivities but a bunch of friends arrived when i got home and we ended up in the pub (in front of a roaring fire  ;D ) i would have got more sleep if i had stayed in donard forest! shamara i hope you didn't miss your supper too much, i owe you one.

I think the fire brigade might have turned a blind eye as we had our fire under control and secure inside the rocks. But there was 3 young polish teens camping a few yards from us with a unsafe fire and no water.  So they could not tell one group to put the fire out and not ours, Also I understand the extra caution they taking due to the Lastest forest fire,  Thanks to some arseholes. If  I caught the losers that started that fire, I would serve them the only justice they understand. They ruin it for everyone else.

Was good to put my foot through the door so to speak and meet you all.   :)  I definitely enjoyed myself, and echoing everyone elses comment - shame about the fire.

Plus - it was good to properly try out my new gear for once.

Great pictures all, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next.   :)
The only downside to going outdoors is having to come back inside.
