Bummer, I only bought mine recently... my colour is now soooooo last year ::) ;D

Actually, looks like Primus releasing their version has maybe prompted Jetboil to up the ante with their range!

The Jetboil Sumo looks interesting. I love my JB but I don't think I'd buy one again - too expensive for what you get and not capable enough if you need to do more than just boil water.

I got the impression that the sumo was just a bigger cup thing that could fit any of the jetboil burner systems. Resulting in a larger cup of tea but the ability to store a bigger gas cart.
Doesn't really make sense to me tho, The jetboil PCS was designed to be compact, light, super fast and efficient, whereas If you wanted a jetboil to cook properly on for groups you went for the helios.

I'm pretty sold on my JB, really glad I got it.  I haven't done anything other than boil water with it, but most of the food I end up eating when camping requires boiled water so it suits dead on.  Having the JB for boiling up dried food and the Trangia for steaks seems like the way forward to me :)  Actually, I'm going to have a go at cutting out my pot cosy to fit the JB cup this week.  Hopefully that will allow me to cook up some more interesting food in the JB without trying to get the flame thrower to simmer!

My poor Honey Stove is feeling a bit left out now... could be hitting the classifieds soon ;)

Can anyone help? Bought one of these bad boys this week, Jetboil Flash.  Where in the North West or anywhere can I get the gas canisters that will fit inside the unit?  Can only get the bigger ones that will attach to the burner but have to be carried separately.  Have done all possible shops in L/Derry.   ???

I get mine in belfast (Cotswolds/tiso/jackson sport) not sure about near you mate. Possibly mail order ???

Try hardware shops or garden centres surprisingly. These places sell the, for blow torches and weed burners respectively.

Only outdoor shop I know in the north is Lindsay's in Coleraine.  Not sure if they do gas canisters etc. but they sell a really good selection of outdoor clothing.  Might be worth giving them a call?
