Note to self !

Just about to leave the house to do bloody bridge to Donard. That's if I can get off the loo. Maybe a two course Indian is not the way to go, the night before a walk!!!

Have a good one. If I never have to climb Donard again it will be too soon. I'm sick of the sight of it :)

Me too. Twice is enough for me in one lifetime.

I'll settle for looking at it from down below or just up into the forest..... :-\

Made it!

I went from Bloody Bridge up to Donard, then down to Donard Carpark. Then we jumped in a taxi back to the car.

I went over on my ankle coming down, which was really sore, I kept my boot on and tightened it away up.

I was glad to see the carpark.

When I was up there it really made me realise how big a trip the Mourne wall is. I take my hat off to you guys.

Get that ankle rested for next Friday night.

Walked down that path a coupla times myself, not a nice walk if you're injured.

You have my sympathies, I broke my ankle last year jumping down from a 2ft wall!  Had to hobble half a mile back to my car and then drive home!

In all seriousness make sure you rest it and get it seen to if it's still painful.  Your ankle is a major weight bearing joint and mine now has a weakness in it that I'm not sure will ever get fixed.

Just back from a two hour wait in A&E, Ankle is Sprained! Thank God no chipped Bones.

Girls asked me how I did it, whe I told her it was climbing Donard, She said " Are ya Mad?"

I thought, not as mad as a bunch of guys I know!

The country is in a sad state if a nurse thinks you're mad for taking a wander up a local hill. She should be encouraging people to get out for a bit of exercise!

I know, considering one young fella beside had ripped his finger open whilst pissed, and some other punter was lying on a bed, tattoos all over his face and looked like he had been in a scrap with Mike Tyson!
