Title: Walker airlifted from Mournes
Post by: admin on April 04, 2010
A 62-year-old man has been airlifted from the Mournes after falling and breaking his leg.

He was part of a group of walkers who were on a section between Slieve Donard and Slieve Commedagh when he fell.

A mountain rescue team assessed his injuries and called for a helicopter to travel from Dublin to airlift him to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.
