Ok, im nearly set, just ordered the PD400!
So, I have the following, and just need to see if there is much missing.
(by the way, you boys are costing me a bloody fortune!)
Tent
Sleeping Mat
Sleeping Bag
MSR Pocket Rocket & Gas
Optimus cooking set
Spork
Head Torch
Knife
Terra 30 Back Pack

Seems like you have all the necessities.

The only other necessity perhaps is a small first aid kit.
(Depending on conditions and how comfortable you want to be either a small change of clothes or a set of base layers)

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the lure of the canvass (or nylon / polyester blend). So where do you want to go first - gentle night in a forest round the fire or full on top of mountain?

All the major stuffs there, most other stuff is probably sitting about your house like
Hat, gloves, buff, spare socks
lighter/fire steel
fleece/warm jacket
toilet kit
A small first aid kit & repair kit; I carry zinc oxide tape, some gauze, a couple brufen & paracetamol, classic razor blade, a needle and a couple metres fishing wire, tiny tube of glue, duck tape wrapped round various items.

Got the fire steel, hat, gloves, socks etc. down jacket. will just need to get a wee first aid kit. as for the toilet kit I always carry a couple of those wee packets of pocket tissues, and having a one year old baby, those scented nappy bags comein handy too!
