hi i was wanting to no if anyone knows how much a canadian canoe would cost and also dose many people buy them as i might be able to get a few
-
They vary in price as they're quite popular. How many do you have access to and what type / quality are they?
-
Depending on price i Might be interested.
-
hi there canadian canoes 14ft by three in the center made of fiberglass and they are good quality with built in floatation chambers in both ends with a hatch and i think i might be able to get 15ft ones as well but im only talking to the fella at the moment so ill see if its worth it
-
im told i can have ten at a decent price but can take whatever i want
-
Do you know make and model or have any piccies?
-
no this fella makes them himself for a living and i dont have pics yet but ill get them as soon as but i did see them last week and they are very nice shape
-
John Wilkinson from Portstewart makes beautiful wooden ones, but he also used to do a couple in GRP- charged about £650 for them, but if there were flaws he'd knock them down to £450. I think he got the hulls from Peter Spence http://www.compositedynamics.com/ and added all the woodwork.
Peter's prices for open canoe hulls (unfinished):
1. Prospector Open Canadian £ 270.00
2. Erne Open Open Canadian £ 290.00
3. Tomahawk Open Canadian £ 320.00
-
£270 for a Canadian is an absolute steal if they're quality.
-
you have to do all the fitting out yourself though (a bit like an apache) so you need to add a bit on.
-
im heading over to england next week i think and if i do i can beat there prices for bare hulls and finished canoes so ill let you all no then. Thanks
-
hi troutdoorsman have you got a price yet as i thinking of buying a mould for a prospector and giving it a go myself
