Title: Frozen shoes!
Post by: chris on February 03, 2010
Took a little jaunt up the mournes there with the dog and camped just between cove and beg. There was a lot of surface run off about and it was hard to find a dry spot for the tent. Got it up eventually and got the head down. When I woke up this morning everything had frozen! There were icicles on the inside of my flysheet, the tent was frozen to the ground and my shoes had frozen solid (took me nearly an hour to get them on!) and it had started snowing! Good times in the mournes! ;D

 :D Good stuff!

Could be a case for carrying a few plastic bags - bung your shoes inside and put them in your sleeping bag. I sleep with my water inside my bag so that it doesn't freeze overnight ... although this only works if you trust you bottle not to leak!

you can embed photos in a post, I still don't know hoe to do it! On a side note could someone explain it too me!

Just click the "insert image" symbol (its the one under the italics button) and it will put IMG (image) tags into your post, like this [ img][/img ].

Now paste the web link for your photo between the img] and the [/img tags.  For example, one of the images above has the web address http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww89/fatty_arbuckle/DSC_00532.jpg.  So paste that web address between the two tags like so:

[ img]http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww89/fatty_arbuckle/DSC_00532.jpg[/img ]

Now click Post, or Preview to check if its worked.  Et voila, embedded image!

By the way, that looks like a class wee camping trip :)
