I've been unemployed for one day and I'm struggling already! I need something to look forward to! So Im planning a trip for next week. Might be 1 night might be a couple i'll see how things go when I get there! any one got any ideas they would like to share? Any lesser known sites of interest, things I should try and do? I fancy exploring the comedagh castles as they intrigued me on our ramble down the brandy pad.
Actually it doesnt even have to be the mournes, might be better if it wasnt, any ideas?

I'll probably be in Annalong Wood someday next week sitting under a tarp with a hobo stove. If you come across me then you're welcome to sit down for a brew! :)

sounds good mate, do you head up there often?
-
No, haven't been up in a long time. It's somewhere I camped while doing my Duke of Edinburgh Silver expedition (22 years ago :o) and I've always wanted to go back and explore it properly.

very good, well let me know when your planning to head up and we'll see what happens!

I was eyeing the castles on Sunday and thinking they would be cool to get up and explore. Maybe you should resurrect the plan to find the crashed bomber in the Mournes. (or get another job you lucky git).

Not sure when, it'll all depend on when I can get time off work etc.
