...so hello folks!
As you might have guessed my name is Simon. I'm interested in pretty much any aspect of nature that I come across, sometimes I stop to explore the things I find in more detail with my camera. My website is www.northern-focus.com and I blog about any old tosh at wandering-photographer.blogspot.com
A quick scan of the forums shows that there are a few people here that I already know (hello to the NIBA folks!)
I've spent most of the last 18 months working on a couple of books. The first, on the coast from Warrenpoint to Stroke City, was published back in October and the second, on the Mournes, will be published this coming April. I've done plenty of exploring for these and I'll be happy to provide anyone with suggestions on places to go if I can.

Welcome Simon, hope we can get you out soon!

welcome simon, checked out the website there love the pictures! I've recently become somewhat of an ameteur photographer and a few images on there have inspired me for a few shots of my own, what camera do you use?
-
Aye, blame it on me ;)
Welcome along Simon

Thanks for the welcomes peep. You may just get me out this weekend! Ulsterwalker gave me the heads up about the walk. As for camera stuff ... errr, where do I start!?!? Too much to mention - in the same way that bushcrafters will say the best knife is the one you have with you, I'm going to say the same about cameras!
