The Winter Solstice (shortest day) is the Mon 21st December and I'm pondering whether we should really all be outdoors doing something preferrably involving cooking meat on an open fire - we don't have dress like pagan druids (unless you want to of course)!
I appreciate it can be a complicated time to get away from commitments but I'm game to try if anyone else is!

To be honest, I hadn't really thought of what to do specifically. Wasn't even definitely thinking of an overnighter. We could just do an evening in Donard Forest or suchlike - throw up the tarp, light a fire, cook sausages etc.

Sounds like a plan, count me in though I will have to check with the boss but hopefully there shouldn't be any problems.

Think it's a bit late in the day for this one - real shame since we have some actual snow! We'll have a crack at sorting something for the next equinox instead.
