I've been plain knackered after 5 miles never mind 60 :D Who would do a 100mile non-stop hike - it couldn't possibly be fun. That said, at my level of fitness I've had many a night climbing cave hill and thinking "Why the hell do I do this. It's not fun and there's no real point". I keep going back though..
