The weathers turning at bit now. What's everyone doing with their weekend. We're planning a wander into the Mournes on Sunday for sausages and super noodles over an open fire. Yum...

Lucky for you guys i'll be listening to the drunks of Lurgan of Sat nite. If i'm lucky i'll get to read Trail on Sunday thats as close to the outdoors as i'll get.

Thats a monster of fish Pablo where did you catch it?

muckno in castleblaney. 22lb pike irish record from a kayak.
sadly i fear there are few pike left in that water after the locust hords invaded. they kill every fish they catch without regard for the other anglers that come after.they net the waters and keep whatever they get, dessimating fish stocks and screwing the whole eco system.
apparently the tv fisherman matt hayes went to poland to do a fishing show and all he could catch in a week was a tiny little pike!
