Hi, I joined the forum a few weeks ago but haven't got round to introducing myself. My name is Eimear, I'm 22. I'm mostly into hillwalking and wild swimming, although I don't know many good places in Northern Ireland for that- I do most of it in RoI. I'm a keen birdwatcher- I've been in the RSBP since I was 9. I love the Mournes and have done a lot of walking in Kerry too. Would love to hear lots of tips for wild swimming in NI as well as join in a few hikes. I'm also keen to find out a bit more about sea kayaking and coasteering- both things that I think sound really fun but I've never tried! I've also never camped in the Mournes, so I'm looking forward to reading everyone's tips and then trying it out:) My other interests are food and lots of related issues like sustainability, climate change, ethical farming- I'm a member of the Slow Food movement and the Soil Association. I also like astronomy, philosophy, gardening and reading.
Looking forward to this community growing!
