Title: Scrabo Tower

I was up here at the weekend and was well dissapointed with the quality of walks. Does anyone know a good route from sea level to the tower that doesn't go up a road?

not official ones. but why not see how far you can get in a straight line? over lands and fences etc. might be a little more exciting than the ones round the park.

especially the one that runs down to the big pond which is a dead end ffs.

I saw a path from the forest to a pond. I assumed it was for fishing or something.
