Title: someone still cares!
Post by: chris on October 07, 2009
Just thought I'd share this with you guys as it made me smile!

I placed a order with a online climbing gear company for a set of nuts at £45 (V. good price usually retail at £60+)
but when i went to the checkout the postage was like £13! I didnt go ahead with the order.

A few days ago they sent me an email saying that there may have been a problem with my card but I told them the postage was too steep and I'd decided to retract my postage.

Then they sent an email saying that they were very sorry I felt this way and that they had been deliberating for a while and decided to charge no p&p on any item and that if I wanted to go ahead with the order they'd even throw in a free 'biner to boot!

Just thought it was nice to see that some comapines still care about customer service and not making profit.

The company is called zero g www.zerogclimbing.co.uk (http://www.zerogclimbing.co.uk)

Nice! I've emailed lots of companies to ask about their postage prices to this fair island and they usually don't even answer. They advertise a UK delivery price but it often turns out that they don't count NI as part of the United Kingdom. Have these people not been watching the news? We're very much part of the UK!!
