Hey guys,
Me and the Mrs are expecting our first baby on 8th Nov and we are starting the (expensive!) process of buying his/her gear.
We are both into our walking, and I love camping, so we would love to do some of this with Junior when they arrive.
Does anyone have any recommendations for:
- push chair
- sling / backpack (that thing where baby sits in it and it goes over your shoulders/back)
...and maybe someone has some ideas that I havent thought about which would be good?
Any suggestions gladly recieved...Im totally out of my depth with this one! :-\ ???

was thinking about gettin one for junior myself

Cheers m8,
Have you ever used one of these before? Are they comfortable (for you and baby?)
-
I have tried one on in costwolds without the baby in seemed ok.
They seem fit for purpose.
I have a trail review of some of the best ones in the house. I'll hunt it out, scan it in work and e-mail u copy(have to wait till monday though(
But I guess it's a case of try before you buy.

That trail review sounds really good.
Thanks a million for doing that for me - really appreciate it m8 :)

not a bother ;D
-
The trail review is good it evens gives you routes that are pram friendly

Found this website with some good reviews:
http://www.pushchairwalks.co.uk/gearpge.html (http://www.pushchairwalks.co.uk/gearpge.html)
Question: If I bought one of those kiddie backpack things which baby sits in (papoose?) then do I really need an All-Terrain Pram?
-
IMHO i would rather have the ba on my back while hiking than trying to push a pram but with a youngon there are so many variables so to take into consideration, sometimes just gettin outta the house with them let alone hiking ;D
........what I found with those type of prams is they have a nack of gettin punctures.

Ill say nothing on this one. :-\

how goes the search mate? Glad that trail article was helpfull.

We have a littlelife compact travel bed (actually we're trying to sell it since our youngest is now 18 months)

It's brilliant for wains up until they're crawling.
Anything I've seen by LittleLife is very good.
