Title: down jacket cleaning

My Rab down jacket pongs a bit ..have any members any ideas of how to freshen it up..?

If a day or two hanging by an open window doesn't cure it:

Wash gently at 30 degrees with liquid soap
Dry gently on a low heat, ruffling occasionally to break up clumping
Allow a minimum of three days with good airflow to complete drying, store loose and give it a good shake occasionally.

Don't be afraid of cleaning your down gear, if you do it right you'll be grand.

Unless it's a cheap one I'd get it dry cleaned. No point risking an expensive jacket. Last one I had cleaned was about £8.
