Hi, I was just wondering if there is anybody who has ever camped in the Florence Court/ Cuilcagh area of Fermanagh?

Hi Charlie,

We did this route back in 2011, we did the route backwards and finished in the Cladagh Glen Scout Centre and camped there for the night. We contacted David Leitch the Scoutmaster for permission first, and it cost nothing for the night. We had two tents and let him know we wouldn't be asking for a use of any of the facilities, it was just a quick stop-over and he was happy enough with that. We were the only people there and it was a wonderful location for the night before heading off to the hanging rock.

It seems the scout centre is closed at the moment for renovations, but if you're not using any of the facilities they provide they might be okay with you just camping there for the night.
