Hi folks
I'm an expat Englishman living near the eastern shore of Lough Neagh. Been hillwalking since childhood and am now irregularly sighted being dragged up and down various Irish hills by a demented three-legged dog.
I'm a long-term user of and contributor to the MountainViews website (I'm sort-of on their committee these days) and I attend the Mourne Outdoor Recreation Forum representing MV whenever it sits. So, basically I have no problems with authority and organisation so long as there's tea and biscuits involved.
See you all out there
Peter

Hi Peter, welcome to NI Wild. I thought I recognized the name from MV, I'm a bit of a lurker there.

Welcome Peter. Have you been in Northern Ireland long?

Moved over permanently in August 2012...I'd been visiting the (now) fiancee roughly two weekends in three for a couple of years before that.
And before that I'd paid a lot of visits to my trailblazing university friend Dave (in the sense that he shacked up with an Irish girl and moved over here) who'd had the decency to set up home in Kerry...
