On Saturday 19th of September 2009 Tollymore Mountain Centre and The Canoe Association of N.I are organising a sea kayak race and challenge event among the islands of the Lough.
Saturday is the race day and there will be two lengths of races, the A class will cover 25 nautical miles (nm) and the B class will cover 16 nm long.
Sunday will be a mini symposium and will be a more relaxed day with some trips and coaching available. Tollymore will also have all the latest sea kayaks available for use.
The cost of the challenge will be £30 per team, if paid before 31st August, going up to £50 until 11th September when applications will close.
