Welcome to the site Dan, if you're moving down to Larne, you can't beat a good stroll and camp up on Scawt Hill or The Sallagh Braes: https://goo.gl/EyN1iS

It's easy enough to get to, it's about 3 miles behind Ballygally, which is roughly 5 miles up the coast-road from Larne. The easy way is to drive up and park at the Linford car-park and then walk up to the Braes. Alternatively you can walk the back roads from Larne, pitch for the night then walk down towards the car-park, down to Ballygally and along the coast back into Larne, which is how i got there. There's enough places to pitch, i just found an area that gave me the best views.
