I didn't get any snow where I live so I thought I would go looking for it earlier today. I didn't have to look very far, Slieve Donard. I found quite a bit of wind too!!
It was an interesting day, glad I had the Gopro in my backpack;

Nice. Which way did you go? Up-down from Newcastle?
-
Yeah, up the Glenn river from Donard Park. I don't much like the Bloody Bridge route so I usually go from Newcastle to get up Donard.
The Bloody Bridge route might have been a bit easier today though because the wind was from the west; no shelter on either side of the wall the way I went but there would have been shelter on the east side running down the other way towards Bloody Bridge.

Handy enough.

Thanks for sharing that Sean, looks amazing up there.
-
Ohhh it looks a bit nippy up there Sean, worth it for the views though lol ;)
Cool video mate, those Gopro's look to be the business!
-
Amazing!
-
Flip, that looks heavy enough weather. Did you meet many others? I must get my GoPro above garden level one of these days ;)
-
Its great to have the wall as a handrail and keep from getting lost. I would think the wind was freezing!!! Looks amazing though.

I bought a GoPro a while back but has been in the drawer ::). I'm always amazed by the quality ;D. Great shots!! ;D

Yeah, RedLeader there were actually a few other people on Donard that day.
I think there are a few others like me; the more extreme the conditions the more they want to go up! lol
Yep, the Gopro's are fantastic for the price. I am currently still editing my Kilimanjaro footage from October. I will post a Youtube link once I have done that.
