A perfect Sunday afternoon activity, learn the basic skills and then paddle along the scenic Quoile River. Sessions at 1pm and 3pm, Jane’s Shore, Downpatrick. Adults £10, Children £8 (must be accompanied). Booking essential.

Does this take place every sunday or just a certain date?

It isn't every weekend, just the 6th and 11th of October. Will probably run again at some stage I should have thought.

nice! i thought the quoile basin was a restricted nature reserve? one of my mates was stopped by a bloke last year who said as much.
hope it isnt though, a yak and barnett diablo catty ought to give hours of fun ;D............................JOKING.

Parts of the Quoile are restricted but you can still paddle by them as far as I know. That said, I've had some local "resistance" to launching around there ::) Grumpy old blokes!
