Title: Should I be here?
Post by: sandman1 on October 28, 2014
Hi all, I signed up here in April as forum seemed interesting and as Mournes would be one of my hiking areas. My welcome email however says the forum is for folks from Northern Ireland - (This forum is intended as a meeting place for anyone from Northern Ireland who enjoys outdoor activities), and unfortunately I'm not from NI. I've never really seen a residence restriction on other fora and never really thought when signing up that I mightn't be eligible. Is this just a mistake with wording or can us Southerners and others join with a clear conscience?

I'm new to hiking, I've had a few stabs at Kerry Way and did WHW in Sept and like to wild camp where possible, spent night on Binnian in May. Do most of my walking in the Cooleys. Off to Nepal for solo trek in April if anyone has any advice?
