downhill is a nice spot. Don't know about fishing tho. Would imagine you could get some done. There are a few in Sligo and Donegal but I don't know if you want to travel that far

I'm not aware of any beaches where you can legitimately camp, not with actual permission anyway. If you found somewhere I'd love to know, I've always wanted to do a camping / fishing trip.

You could camp in the dunes behind the long strand at Culdaff. This is a popular fishing spot too.
Alternatively, you could walk well along the Portstewart dune system and behind the beach.
Kinnego Bay is also a potential spot, although I would suggest walking into the second bay which is more secluded.

If you prefer fishing off rocks then I know lots of little places around the Causeway headlands where you could pitch. In particular there is a gully east of Hamilton's seats which will take you down to a cove which I guarantee you will have to yourself.

There is no legitimate wild camping spots on the North Coast but I've never had any bother with the style of camping I do (on my own, pitch late, leave early, leave no trace).
