Title: Tough Cameras
Post by: Diesyl on July 15, 2014
Anyone got one of those tough life proof cameras?

I was thinking of one of the new Olympus TG-3's, but I know you pay a bit for the fact it can go swimming and ice climbing too.

Reviewers always seem to find fault with all they test, so  I thought I would ask in here if anyone has experience with that type of camera.

If nothing else it is going to be better than my smartphone!

Diesyl.

I use a Panasonic Lumix FT25 and I absolutey love it, has taken some big knocks and still going well although I'm not keen to try it underwater any more as I think I've damaged the battery compartment seal  :( currently retailing at approx £115. If you want higher quality pics there's the FT5 at approx £240.
