Title: Community Rescue is recruiting
Post by: DryBag on June 12, 2014
Community Rescue is one of the UK's 33 Lowland Rescue teams.

Lowland rescue teams search for vulnerable missing people everywhere that isn't covered by Coastguard or Mountain Rescue - so forests, rivers, towns, farmland, lakes, etc.

There are units in Antrim, Belfast, Coleraine, Portglenone, Strabane and South Down so most people will have one fairly close.  Easiest way to contact them is on Facebook.

The process involves a visit to your local unit, an interview, and then induction training is held four times a year.  The next one is 6th July.

no experience is needed - full training is provided.  It's a very fulfilling and worthwhile organisation.
