I am a new member from Co Armagh. We began hiking in the amazing Mournes last year while training for a sponsored walk up Donard. I have become addicted!! One of my favourite places so far is from Ott car park to Lough Shannagh. Wow! Also Hen. We have yet to venture into the Slieve Binnian area. Could someone suggest where is a good place to start?

Carrick little car park on the head road is your best bet. Park there and dander up the lane way. Personally I prefer going up the back of binnian and back down the steeper side but no doubt others will disagree!
