THIS MONTHS THEME IS "Sunrise or Sunset"
This months theme will be "Sunrise or Sunset" chosen by last months Winner, and new Photo Comp Administrator, Landyliam.
Landy's PC is not working right now so I'm just helping out by putting this post up for him. Once he's up and running again I'm sure he will reveal his newly re-vamped photo comp format :)
Please email your entry for the Monthly Photo Competition to here:
[email protected]For fairness, submitted entries will not be displayed until after the closing date.
All entries need to be submitted by Midnight on 31st March, although Landyliam reserves the right to extend this closing date.
The Monthly Photo Competition is open to NI-Wild Members only. Only one entry per member per month will be accepted. Please remember to include your NI Wild Username when submitting your entry. No specialist equipment is required to enter this Photo comp and remember you're the photographer, so your interpretation will be respected.

Many thanks for sorting that one out Dowser, I'll hopefully have the PC running again soon, until then i'm restricted to an ipad and i can't seem to make that do what i want :(
THE RULES HAVE CHANGED SLIGHTLY:
you can submit an anonymous entry (unless you win we demand the right to know who to resent ;D )
you can also submit a second picture but must say which one is your primary choice as it will only be included if we are low on entries
all winners will be entered into an end of year draw for something nice :)
Last day to get your entries in for a chance to win a rather exclusive ni-wild sew on patch :)

NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE, BUT CAN PICK 3 PHOTOS, i.e. if you pick one photo and click submit you don't get another chance! so pick 3 ;)

This months winner of the NI-Wild Monthly Photo Competition
Well Done John... Normally the winner would get to pick next months subject but this is no longer a democracy and I have already decided it shall be "The Summit", hope you will come up with summit good ::) I will stick the entrants names beside the photos and any location details if i can figure them out.

Congrats John, that's a cracking photo. The quality this month was awesome across, well done everyone.
congrats and great picture and worthy winner....
great shot
Nice shot john, it's a lovely part of the world co down.
It was such a good shot that its actually won before :o i'm tempted to have a stewards enquiry but as I came second that might look a bit devious ;D I've now added a rule in that previous winnings shots cannot be used :P
So we seem to have drummed up a bit more interest for the March comp, did you like the option of having 3 votes? was it too many or too little?
Well done on the win MM, it got one of my votes.

The three vote system works well, sometimes it's incredibly hard to choose just one. I was thinking is there anyway to give each entry a few Karma points for sending in their photos. I mean if an entry doesn't actually get any votes at least they get something for it, and maybe the winner of the comp gets 10 Karma points or double the amount of entries, just an idea.
Actually, in addition to the winners draw, i'm going to have an extra end of year draw with every entrant getting a ticket for each month they've entered, will probably do the draw at the Christmas Camp. I just have to find another NI-Wild patch to give away, or maybe I'll just have a bottle of whisky as the prize ;D
