Hi all, my name is Mike Kelly and I live in Skerries, Nth Co Dublin.
I'm a 63 grandad and retired businessman, I served in the UK military (many, many years ago) and have had an on-going love for the outdoors - mountains, kayaking, camping etc.
I plan to introduce my grandkids to more outdoor activities and to share my love and fascination for these activities with them. Equally, I want to challenge myself about what I think I know and I'd like to meet with and to learn from others who have that knowledge and experience. Joining NI-Wild ticks all the boxes for me.
I look forward to meeting you on the outings.
Mike

Hi and thanks. :)

Welcome Mike. Getting the kids out is a great reason for a bit of outdoors fun. Benefits all concerned!

Ah the grandad every kid deserves, hope you have some great times with the kids. Welcome to NI Wild.

Thanks all.
Looking forward to it but it'll be difficult convincing a couple of them that electricity doesn't grow on trees and no there isn't anywhere to plug in PS3 etc. :)
