Title: Wanted : Dutch Oven

We're after a Dutch Oven for the Ham Hock Hammock camp. We can't seem to find any locally, only online and obviously they're expensive to have shipped being so heavy.

Does anyone know of anywhere in Northern Ireland that sells them, second hand would be good as they're not exactly the sort of item to break down.

The NISurvival (http://www.nisurvival.co.uk/) guys kindly offered to lend us one but we'd like to get our own if possible.

Don't know of anywhere but I would say keep an eye on all the carboot sales near you. I have seen cast iron large pots a few times in the past near me.

If you're buying one, I'd advise to stay away from the footed models.
These can get broken off when being carried - better off having one to set right onto the fire.

I have a small 5 litre one. If you're stuck you're more than welcome to borrow

I thought a "Dutch Oven" was when your in bed with someone, feel the need to break wind hold the other person under the duvet in the fumes :)

You're not the first to wonder what the hell we were talking about :) Always a bad sign when the Urban Dictionary meaning is so much better known than the 300 year old actual meaning  ::)
