Title: Ahoy!
Post by: BeardySi on September 11, 2013
Hi folks, I'm Si, a Scout leader in Belfast and something of an outdoors addict... I particularly enjoy walking and wild camping, but I'll give anything a shot once!

Hello and Welcome! Question: how does one become a scout leader? It's always something I've fancied but was far too mental in my 20's to be one lol! Age has mellowed me a bit and I've always thought the Scouts is a pretty worthwhile organisation.

Hey BeardySi, I'm new on here, Also a Scout Leader, just started this term. from 1st Roe valley Scouts. in Limavady. maybe be seeing you at some events.....

Rusty Madra, I found it easy to get involved with the Scouts, I just emailed the Scout network and asked about who to get in touch with, they passed my details on, and I was contacted by the local Assistant District Commissioner, went for a quick chat and then filled in some paperwork, so far so easy....and enjoyable, reliving those younger years I had as a Scout....
