Title: This is why you don't stand under a tree in a lightning storm

Not sure what the best plan is for lightning, seems like everything except sitting in a car seems the wrong thing to do.

flip, that's rough!

hunker in a ditch with your head between your knees was what I always heard was best. Don't lie down, avoid pointy things.
