Great going! Five of us completed it (eight started at Carrick Little) on 3rd Aug in 12.5 hours.
Would like to do it in under 10 hours some year but it's tough in a group.
-
Great achievement, well done. How would you compare it to the 7 7's?
-
Well done :) and just where did you hit that max speed of 31.6kmh :o (probably dropped the gps off Bernagh ;D )
-
Wow mate that's some going indeed, karma
-
Well done Phil, a sub-10 walk is impressive!!

Cheers guys. My legs arent great now and im away cutting hedges all day up and down ladders! It was a lot tougher that the 7 7's, that bloody climb up muck nearly finished me. If I hadnt stopped on every peak to take pictures, hadnt stopped 3 or 4 times for a chat with people and hadnt went wrong near the end and had to fight my way through a forest, through 2 fields of cows that took a dislike to the dogs and down a lane onto the road further out past dunny water, 9 hours might have been possible. I met an old man who must have been close to 70 coming running down Binnian as I was going up at 6.30am and then met him again on Slieve loughshannagh mid morning, he had started at silent valley and was running it anti clockwise. He proceded to tell me that I was doing it the easy way ??? He reckoned it was much harder his way. Was nearly told to p.... off!

Brilliant stuff, well done. I'd have problems doing a single peak at the mo, the summer has left me a bit of a fatty :(
-
Well done Phil :D
Sounds like you nailed it mate.....even if it was going around the 'easy way' (silly old fart) >:(
