Hi Guys,
I've joined this site in the hope of finding some likeminded people.
I'm interested in getting into Foraging - both Hedgerow and Seashore and was wondering if any of you currently did this as a group/class or just for fun?
I'd mainly be looking to forage around the Ards Pennisula, but don't mind travelling a bit for an organised group.
Hopefully someone will be into this :D
Thanks!

I can't believe it's been two years but Redleader and I did this:

We were actually chatting only last week about it and defo plan to do it again soon.
There's an abundance of food to be foraged around the Ards peninsula. Get your hands on a copy of this book: http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/meets-places-trips-and-reviews/first-stealth-coastal-bivvy-and-seashore-forage/msg17114/#msg17114
It's an excellent all-rounder which helps with plant and animal identification and also gives you some very tasty recipes to help you create the perfect meal from your bounty.
If we do get another forage organised we will post detail on the site for anybody who wants to come along :)
