On behalf of Sport NI and Sperrins Outdoor Recreation Forum (SORF), Outdoor Recreation NI are developing an Outdoor Recreation Action Plan (ORAP) for the Sperrins region. The aim of this plan is to to identify current provision and management of all outdoor recreation activities and identify opportunities for development over the next 5-10 years.
Outdoor Recreation are keen to know:
(a) where you currently use within the Sperrins
(b) for what activities
(c) what activities/facilities you would like to see developed in the future.
Three open consultations will be held for anyone wanting to share their views and will be held on the following dates:
Tuesday 13th August @ An Creagán Visitor Centre, Creggan : Time: 7-8pm
Wednesday 14th August @ The Diamond Centre, Claudy: Time: 7-8pm
Tuesday 20th August @ Kilcronaghan Activity Centre, Tobermore: Time: 7-8pm
To confirm your attendance at one of the above events or for more information contact - Matthew, Outdoor Recreation NI T: 028 9030 3930 or email matthew@outdoorrecreationni.com
With so many things/decisions seeming to be made without anyone knowing about it, it's good to organisation at least being seen to be listening.
