Dear All
Gosh, I'm rather overwhelmed by how game people seem to be on this site. It's certainly well named as I do thing you are all wild things - I just hope you don't look like the Wild Things in my son's book!
ANYWAY.... all I can say is I do own a 6 man tent and HAVE actually used it ... a few times including at festivals, but I do LOVE the outdoors... when it doesn't rain :) I did a Geography degree so field trips are sort of ingrained in me from a fairly early age, but living outside is a bit more of an endurance test rather than a holiday, especially with NI weather ---- I only moved here 3 years ago from the sunny SE England. But I do have some fabulous walking boots so walking, or even cycling, is just grand.
So, joining this site is moving me from watching the game to playing the game so bring it on! I loved the note about EVENTS during the week so I'll be keeping an eye out for things to do there.

Welcome Sarah, I was in the same boat (or is that tent ??? ) a few years ago, reading about all their extreme wild exploits. But nothing extreme to it really, just get out and have a go, and if it all goes horribly worng then make sure you have a camera ;D you might want to downsize on the tent though ;)
