Title: Mourne Mountain Neolithic Monuments

I was reading an article  (http://www.thehindu.com/features/metroplus/travel/on-the-chronicle-trail/article4633549.ece)on the Mournes and noticed the sentence:

This is ancient territory, and prehistoric cairns and stone graves dot the hills.

Other than Legannany Dolmen I'm hard pressed to name any neolithic structures in the Mournes, even then Legananny is quite far from the area the article seems concerned with.

I have a soft spot for stoneage structures, is there stuff in the Mournes I'm missing?

There is a standing stone near Loughlinisland.

Same here RedLeader, i have a soft spot for any neolithic feature spotted around the country and find it extremely satisfying to find any of them when out for a day hike, it always fills me with awe when you see these structures set into the landscape.

there are souterains (possible spelling mistake there). think there's one around the windy gap somewhere, and of course there's the one everyone went to see in primary 6 at school, lol.

ps I think my os map shows them, could be wring though.
