Title: Pre- Easter camp walk

So as we all know the Easter camp is at Donard woods this weekend, and the fun kicks off early evening. But...

Does anyone fancy a walk beforehand?

 I was thinking of starting early and parking at either meelmore lodge or the trassy carpark - then from there walking the trassy path to hares gap, then between Commedagh and Donard and onwards to the forest. It's probably a 3 hour walk but max elevation of 570 so hopefully still above freezing. Not sure if I will bother if alone - but maybe I can recruit someone to join? :)

Hi Kyle, i know a few of us will be heading up from Donard carpark so we won't be able to make the route you've suggested but could i interest you in maybe a hike upto Donard on the day once we've made camp? I was a bit trepidatious about heading to the summit on my own on Wednesday so some company would be great, sure talk to you on the day, see you there.

What time are you arriving at camp and heading off for the hike?

I will be at the camp early because I have to plant the plastic eggs for the egg hunt. might be there by 13:00pm at the camp spot.

Yea I have managed to get the weekend off work so I've nothing to do but head down so should be there just after midday.
