There seem to be a worrying number of orange and yellow warnings coming from the Met Office. It's supposed to be spring, did no-one tell the weather?

It was definitely winter on Slievenaglogh and Commedagh today, strong winds that were a pain to walk into blowing frozen snow into my face. Even the 2 dogs didnt look happy :(. I was hoping visibility might have been better and the sun might have broken through but it didnt happen. Tomorrow is looking like a really stinking day.

Yeah, I'm going over to do the West Highland Way Sunday-Wednesday.
Not much chance of travelling with the 28L pack. :(
It'll be the twentyclicks special, filled with primaloft, many gloves & hats, goggles and an ice-axe.
All the same, I'd rather it stays just under zero than sleety wet cold. Snow bivvies! ;D

Snow on the way - yellow areas expecting moderate snowfall, orange areas will have heavy snow and red places will have significant accumulations with 'blizzard' like conditions over higher ground.

YAY for snow!
BOO for multiple server upgrades on Saturday Morning from 6am and a non-optional charity ball on Saturday night!
@twentyclicks: good luck! Say hello to Rannoch Moor/Glen Coe for me, tell them I'll back for a proper explore some time soon :) But 95miles over four days...makes me feel like a patsy for doing it over 9 days...with bag transit...and hotels :-[

Will do Chuck. I've to do it all in one day in 3 months time, so tough training is needed! Not exactly a holiday, but I do like these things ::)
